Arne is not only a world renowned jouster and mounted martial artist, he is also an accomplished rider. As a student of the Princely School of Riding Art in Buckeburg, Germany, and regular rider in their team, Arne has dedicated his life to the understanding of the old Art of Riding. Having studied the Old Masters, he tries to school his horses like the warhorses of Kings. Needing to ride his horses mostly by seat in the riding demonstrations, his style is heavily based on gymnasticising and strengthening side movements and a horse that is happily yielding to aids it understands. As a teacher Arne concentrates on seat, a clear understanding of the exercises, better effect of lighter aides, and exercise planning so both rider and horse have a sense of achievement together. Many practical and playful exercises make for a different approach.
