Combining theory and practical, Arne focusing on each rider and horse individually, working on creating harmony in movement together to achieve healthy, happy and collected horses who are ready for any challenge and competition level What is Historic Dressage? How was it ridden? And what is useful about it to riders now? With exercises from Doma Vaquera, historic fighting manuals, and so forth, to help understand the system. Riding by the seat, in the renaissance/medieval style explained biomechanically. Each day will commence with a theory session, and then Arne will give personal instruction to riders and their horses either individually or in groups of 2 only. Rider places are strictly limited. You can book to attend both days for $225, or one day for $125. Fence sitters are welcome ($25 per day) Please contact Unicorn Park for more info 0408 326 106 Arne is not only a world renowned jouster and mounted martial artist, he is also an accomplished rider. As a student of the Princely School of Riding Art in Buckeburg, Germany, and regular rider in their team, Arne has dedicated his life to the understanding of the old Art of Riding. Having studied the Old Masters, he tries to school his horses like the warhorses of Kings. Needing to ride his horses mostly by seat in the riding demonstrations, his style is heavily based on gymnasticising and strengthening side movements and a horse that is happily yielding to aids it understands. As a teacher Arne concentrates on seat, a clear understanding of the exercises, better effect of lighter aides, and exercise planning so both rider and horse have a sense of achievement together. Many practical and playful exercises make for a different approach.

In an interview with ABC News Tracy asked for changes so that vets can be brought in faster to help injured horses saying that there needed to be urgency to help livestock injured from bushfires. "Vets need to be allowed into fire zones as a matter of urgency, to avoid prolonged animal suffering.""I don't care how they bring vets in to at least give pain relief or destroy what needs to be done," she said."Vets need to come in a lot earlier, I mean these horses suffered for 18 hours before being destroyed, with us looking after them, which was absolutely heart-breaking."
