In an interview with ABC News Tracy asked for changes so that vets can be brought in faster to help injured horses saying that there needed to be urgency to help livestock injured from bushfires. "Vets need to be allowed into fire zones as a matter of urgency, to avoid prolonged animal suffering.""I don't care how they bring vets in to at least give pain relief or destroy what needs to be done," she said."Vets need to come in a lot earlier, I mean these horses suffered for 18 hours before being destroyed, with us looking after them, which was absolutely heart-breaking."
